12 days from Casablanca to Sahara

Day 1: arrival in Casablanca

We welcome you at Casablanca airport and transfer you to your hotel. If you arrive in the morning you will enjoy a guided tour of Casablanca.

Day 2: Casablanca – Safi – Essaouira

After breakfast we will visit the great Hassan II mosque in Casablanca, then we will leave for Essaouira via Safi. We will have lunch en route and continue our journey to Essaouira. You can visit the UNESCO-listed medina, the port of Squala, the Jewish quarter. The dinner and the night will be at the hotel in the medina of Essaouira.

Day 3: Essaouira – Marrakech

We leave for Marrakech, we stop on the way to visit an Argan oil cooperative, then we continue to Marrakech. Night in a riad in the heart of the medina.

Day 4: Marrakech – Tizi n-tichka – khasbah ait Ben haddou – Ouarzazate – Boumalne dades

You travel to Ouarzazate crossing the High Atlas Mountains at an altitude of 2260 meters. During your trip, you will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the Atlas Studios and the Kasbah of Taourirt in Ouarzazate. Then you continue your journey to the oasis of Skoura to visit Kasbah Amridil. Finally, you continue to Boumalne Dadès following the beautiful Dadès Valley. You dine and spend the night at the hotel in Boumalne.

Day 5: Boumalne dades – Tinghir – Erfoud – Merzouga

The plan for your day is to leave after breakfast for Tinghir, take photos in the Todra palm grove, have lunch in the gorges, continue to Erfoud via Tinjdad and Jorf, take a brief visit to a fossil museum in Erfoud and continue towards Merzouga. You have planned to dine and stay in a hotel facing the big dunes of Morocco.

Day 6: Merzouga – visit khamlia – Erg chebbi

You will discover the life of the nomads of the Sahara in the region of Merzouga and return to see the Gnaoua musicians in Khamlia. You have lunch with a special Berber meal and a good Berber pizza, then you have a nice camel ride.

Day 7: Erg chebbi – Ziz Valley – Midelt

After admiring the sunrise, you have breakfast and reach the foot of the dunes on the back of a camel. You then head towards Rissani, where you visit the large Tafilalt market and continue towards the Ziz valley. Then you travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, have dinner and spend the night in a hotel in Midelt.

Day 8: Medilt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes

After breakfast, you continue your trip to Fez through the cedar forest to Azrou, where you can see monkeys in the forest. You then continue to Ifrane, known for its Sky station in Morocco. You spend the night in a riad in the medina.

Day 9: Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen

After your breakfast we will leave Fez towards chefchaouen. We stop in Meknes, we visit the Moulay Ismail mausoleum. and the great gate of the Medina. Continue to Volubilis to visit the Roman ruins, from there we will cross the magnificent Rif mountains to reach Chefchaouen. Night in a magnificent riad.

Day 10: Chefchaouen – Tetouan – Tangier – Asilah

After breakfast, you leave for Tangier, passing through Tetouan and visiting the medina of Tangier The medina: an old fortified city with many narrow streets and lively squares. You continue to the caves of Hercules on the Atlantic side. Next, your journey takes you to Asilah, a pretty and peaceful town on the Atlantic coast. You spend the night in a hotel.

Day 11: Assilah – Rabat

After your breakfast we leave for Rabat, we visit the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of Oudays and Chellah. Visit The old town: a historic medina with many cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. The Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art: a museum dedicated to modern and contemporary Moroccan art. Night in a hotel.

Day 12: Rabat – Casablanca

We transfer you to Casablanca airport.
